Getting Access to Experiences

Experiences is part of Nuitee Connect’s travel platform. It lets you search tours and activities, check availability, take payment, and confirm bookings through the same Connect authentication model you already use.

What you can build

With Experiences on Nuitee Connect, you can:

Search tours and activities by destination and filters
Show tour detail, media, and guest reviews
Check availability and participant types for a date range
Resolve live priced options and time slots
Prebook a hold and collect payment with Stripe
Confirm bookings and retrieve status / vouchers
Cancel bookings with a refund quote

Access & environments

Understanding how access works is critical before integrating Experiences.

Authentication

Experiences uses the same API key and authentication method as the rest of Nuitee Connect (X-API-Key). No additional credentials are required once Experiences access is enabled.

Experiences can also be enabled in the Nuitee Connect Whitelabel product, but it is not enabled by default. You must request access.

Environments

Experiences supports two environments:

Sandbox
Production

Sandbox

Use your sandbox API key (sand_…) for development.

What to expect:

Non-production inventory suitable for integration testing
Safe end-to-end checkout against sandbox payment flows
Behavior that may differ from live catalogue depth or confirmation timing

Use it for:

Validating request and response shapes
Building your UX and payment flow
Completing an end-to-end test before requesting production

Production

Production access is not enabled by default and requires approval. Use your production API key (prod_…) only after production Experiences access is granted.

You may be asked to provide:

Your use case
Expected usage or traffic
Proof of a working sandbox integration

How to request access

Experiences access is enabled on request. The following require explicit enablement:

Sandbox Experiences access (if not already on your account)
Production access
Experiences support in Whitelabel

To get access:

Go to the Nuitee Connect dashboard
Use the Request Assistance feature
Submit a ticket requesting Experiences access
Specify whether you need production and/or Whitelabel access; otherwise only API access is considered

Whether you need production and/or Whitelabel access

Common Issues

I don’t have access to Experiences endpoints

Experiences access has not been enabled. Submit a request through the dashboard.

The data looks incorrect or incomplete

This is expected behavior in sandbox. Please try a different route.

I get 403 with a production key

Your account may be sandbox-only, or production Experiences is not approved yet. Use a sandbox key to develop, then request production.

I can’t access production

Production access must be requested and approved. Submit a request through the dashboard.

I get 401

Missing or invalid X-API-Key. Check the header and key environment (sandbox vs production).

Experiences are not showing in Whitelabel

Experiences has not been enabled for your Whitelabel configuration.
