Infrastructure & Hosting Security

LiteAPI operates on secure, modern cloud infrastructure designed to ensure high availability, resilience, and strong security controls. Infrastructure security is a foundational component of LiteAPI’s overall security posture.

Cloud Infrastructure

LiteAPI is hosted on infrastructure provided by trusted, industry-leading cloud service providers.

These providers maintain robust security programs and certifications, including physical security, environmental protections, and compliance with internationally recognized standards.

LiteAPI leverages managed cloud services to reduce operational risk and benefit from continuously updated security controls.

Network Security

Network-level protections are implemented to prevent unauthorized access and limit exposure.

These include:

  • Network segmentation between public-facing services and internal systems
  • Firewalls and traffic filtering rules
  • Restricted access to administrative and internal service endpoints
  • Secure internal communication channels between services

Environment Isolation

LiteAPI environments are logically isolated to reduce the blast radius of potential issues.

Isolation applies to:

  • Production vs non-production environments
  • Customer-facing services vs internal systems
  • Sensitive data storage vs application layers

This ensures that development or testing activities cannot impact production systems or customer data.

DDoS and Traffic Protection

LiteAPI employs protective measures to mitigate denial-of-service attacks and abusive traffic patterns.

These measures may include:

  • Traffic rate limiting
  • Automated filtering of malicious requests
  • Use of cloud-native protection services

Secure Configuration Management

Infrastructure components are configured according to security best practices, including:

  • Hardened baseline configurations
  • Regular review of configuration changes
  • Controlled deployment processes

Changes to production infrastructure follow defined operational procedures to minimize risk.

Physical Security

Physical security of the underlying data centers is managed by cloud infrastructure providers and includes:

  • Controlled access to facilities
  • Surveillance and monitoring
  • Redundant power and environmental systems

LiteAPI personnel do not directly manage or access physical data center facilities.

Shared Responsibility Model

While LiteAPI secures the infrastructure and platform, customers are responsible for:

  • Securing their own systems and networks
  • Properly configuring integrations with LiteAPI
  • Protecting credentials and access tokens
